About Jules
Jules is a passionate, powerhouse vocalist with a deep-rooted love for music that runs through every performance. Raised on an eclectic mix of genres, she cut her teeth singing in choirs, taking lead roles in musicals, and performing in church worship. A trained musician, she holds Grade 5 Piano, Grade 6 Music Theory, and Grade 7 Clarinet.
In 2017, a major life shift led her back to performing - first as a backing singer in a function band, and then fronting her own outfit, Jadi, alongside her drummer husband. The band covered everything from soul and funk to reggae, ska, and blues, laying the groundwork for Jules to launch her solo career. Today, she brings that same energy and versatility to every solo set.
Her musical influences span decades - The Beatles remain her all-time favourite, while Amy Winehouse’s raw emotion and style continue to inspire. Jules’s setlists are crowd-tested and wide-ranging, from 50s classics to modern-day hits.
Jadi
Jadi is Jules’s full live band – a high-energy lineup featuring lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and full backing vocals for a rich, powerful sound. Known for their dynamic sets covering soul, funk, ska, reggae, blues and rock, Jadi bring a full-stage experience that gets audiences moving.
